Sunday Sevens #9 (#41 on T&B)

Sunday, June 21, 2015

Summer is here!  Well, at least in the Northern Hemisphere.  Happy first day of summer (or winter for those in the Southern Hemisphere).  I traced what seems like a million patterns (All of Tilly's Love at First Stitch patterns, Simplicity 1873, Gerties' Shirtwaist dress) and started a lot of projects this week and finished a couple. Woo-who!  Here are my seven images for the week.

1.  Capturing the little moments.
2.  Biking to get staples: Icee for Jules, wine for dinner, pineapple for dessert.
3.  We have been doing a cathartic summer clean.  My hubby finally decided to part with a box cassette tapes he has had since high school.
4.  Father's day gift came in a wee early -- more brewing stuff.

5.  We travelled to Little Rock for a baseball tournament and enjoyed the Discovery Museum.  They had an exhibit where you had to solve clues -- just like The 39 Clues (my son's current book series).
6.  Appetizer of crab claws sautéed with compound butter.  Mmmmmm.
7.  We also visited Central High in Little Rock where the Little Rock Nine were escorted into high school under armed guard during desegregation.  Very interesting museum.

  1. I love your little bike & basket! I've been thinking about getting a basket for Maisy puppy but I just don't know if I will be able to balance with her on too!

I love to hear what you think -- it makes my day! I will try to respond to each of them.
